About Abbey Travel
Abbey Travel have been successfully supplying Passenger Vehicle Transport to it’s clients since the Company formation in 1989.
With the implementation of sound and innovative management systems for quick response Quotations and bookings, the Company has built a reputation within the industry, which is almost second to none.
The Company continues to reinvest in driver training and customer focus awareness, key factors, which we believe are vital ingredients to a successful business.
We have proudly watched our vehicle fleet rapidly grow from one single transit van to a range of modern Mercedes vehicles throughout the capacity spectrum. This has recently been enhanced by the arrival of our newest recruit, a 49 seat luxury Setra coach.
Abbey Travel are now in a position to offer clients complete flexibility when it comes to selecting a vehicle or combination of vehicles suitable for their party requirements.
All our vehicles are cleaned and maintained to the highest possible standards, which meet with current VOSA legislation.
Our ever broadening client base incorporates many blue chip companies such as Ernst & Young, Kings Ferry, and the Houses of Parliament to name but a few.
Our administrative team are customer focused, highly motivated and dedicated to raising the Abbey Travel profile and we sincerely believe that we have built a pro-active team who relish a challenge and recognise the importance of seeking improvement at every opportunity.
For the past 18 months we have been researching the possibility of moving into the Self Drive market and we are confident that now is the correct time to do so.
Despite the fact that we have previously not advertised a self-drive service we can an average of 3-4 enquiries per week (off peak) and 10 enquiries per week during peak time.
We now have a system in place, which will include a new advertising campaign and in conjunction with the commencement of rigorous direct marketing procedures we can confidently predict that the self-drive service would be a natural progression in the growth of Abbey Travel. |
